The Bible has a lot to say about how we use our mouths. James goes on to tell us that with the same mouth that we praise our Lord comes cursing and gossip. I believe not being able to tame your tongue is an issue that young and old struggle with. Gossip has no age target; it can hit us all if we are not careful. The Bible talks about taking every thought captive, but let's go a step further in our faith and practice taking every word captive. Through the Spirit enabling us, we can put an end to every foolish word that would be spoken by us. We can rise above gossip, profanity, and rudeness. We can truly be children of righteousness.    - Pastor Sarah

NIGHT TO REMEMBER, May 25th-27th

Every year over Memorial Day weekend, youth grades 10-12 from the state of Michigan have a chance to come together and stay at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island.

This is a great event as it is an alternative for young people to choose over their proms.

The cost is $154 per student. This includes 2 nights stay, dinner and breakfast at the Grand Hotel, and an evening of entertainment with Michael Joiner.

Registration and money is due no later than April 1st.
