Summer Says “Good Bye”
Summer says “good bye.”
Fall is in the air.
Winter fast approaches.
It doesn’t seem to care.
Moans and sighs go out
Expecting chill and white.
Snowmen in the yard
Love the long cold blight.
Frost upon the ground
Signals winter will see its day.
Oh that it would stop
And turn the other way.
But that’s not how it happens.
Man can dream his dreams.
Time surely marches on -
Too quickly so it seems.
God our Father knows.
All is in His care.
Don’t worry about the weather.
Be still, and know that He is there.
