THE NEW YEAR IS HERE

The New Year is here.
Once more 'tis begun.
What will we do
In the New Year – this one?

We have a choice
Daily to make.
We can choose well
And live for Jesus' sake.

Or we can choose poorly
To make self number one
To do our own will
Thus shunning God’s Son

In this New Year
Let us live for the Lord
Then life will be full
And we’ll never be bored.

We need to live by His Spirit.
That’s how it must be
If we are to truly
Live eternally.
