THE BUNNY AND THE CROSS

The bunny and the cross
Both speak of spring.
One goes hippity-hop.
The other tells of suffering.

The bunny can go on
Without the Easter story
But the cross tells of God’s love
And gives Him all the glory.

So on this Easter please
Keep the bunny in its place.
Turn your eyes to Jesus
For we are saved alone by grace.
