Good Morning Everyone,

I thought I was going to take a break from the newsletter but was so excited about the good things God is doing, I couldn't help but write. I was able to be a part of our East Michigan Nazarene District Assembly this past week. Talk about excited as I gave my report. Basically it went like this -- STEADY GROWTH ACROSS THE BOARD. This past year we were up 20% in Sunday School. Morning Worship was up 8%. Wednesday night was up 16%. Sunday Night was up 16%. All Budgets were PAID IN FULL and we took in 11 NEW MEMBERS last year. To God be the glory. South Flint is a great place to pastor.

Sunday morning was a great day. A good spirit prevailed and we had a good crowd. I believe there were 146 present. Pastor June shared a wonderful message from Isaiah Chapter 43 on forgetting about the past and the old things. God is going to do something new for His people. We hope to have that message up on the web page tonight. Sunday night we went over for a combined service at Flint First Nazarene. There were about 100 present for the service. Flint First provided music and their choir sang. I preached a message entitled, "The Church That Made God Sick." from Revelation Chapter 3. At the close of the service we had a time of prayer for both churches and people. After the service we had a wonderful time of food and fellowship and got to know and visit with many of the people there. There was a wonderful spirit of cooperation and fellowship that prevailed. Let's keep praying for Pastor Steve Hittle and the good people at Flint First Nazarene.

Thought for the week -- I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in this body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20 Remember, the Savior did not die for you in order that you might go on living your life as you choose. He died for you so that from now on He might be able to live His life in you and through you. Keep that in mind this week.

Don't forget, this Sunday night the folks from Flint First will be coming to South Flint for a combined Sunday night service. Pastor Steve Hittle will be sharing God's Word and our teens will be having a fund raiser following the service to help raise money for summer camp. The menu will be Subs, Chips, Vegetables, Drink and Deserts. Hope to see you all there.
