Good Morning Church,

I saw this picture recently and I just wanted to make a point.

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny may be dead, but the Son of God is Alive and Well. That was the good news of resurrection Sunday. From the moment of man's fall, God had a plan, and it was for His Son to die on a cross. God provided the perfect sacrifice to deal with our sin, our rebellion, and our evil hearts. Jesus Christ is risen and He is now reigning as Lord. What a great thought on this Monday morning!

Yesterday was a magnificent day at South Flint Nazarene. We had 77 in attendance at our early service. All six of our staff shared and had a part in the message during that service. Then we enjoyed an all-church Easter breakfast together. Thanks to Joyce Stone and the all the ladies that worked in the kitchen. The breakfast was wonderful, ladies. In our second service we had 163 in attendance. Andrew Frey did a wonderful job directing the choir in the cantata, "Worthy." Our message in that service was, "What is Truth?" This pastor is rejoicing in what the Lord did yesterday. We had a good response at the altar and how we praise the Lord for His faithfulness.

In closing, I would ask you to remember. I believe Easter is all about remembering and taking to heart how much God loves us. Because He lives I can face tomorrow. Have a blessed week.

Till next time, Pastor Don

P.S. This coming Sunday night we will be finishing up the series, "When Life Doesn't Turn Out the Way You Expect." Hope to see you there.
