NEWSLETTER ARCHIVE

Greetings Everyone,

I hope you're having a good Monday morning. I've just come off a great weekend. It was very busy but also very rewarding. On Saturday night 114 men filled our fellowship hall for our 3rd Annual Men's Wildgame Dinner. We had a wonderful time, and I have heard many positive comments from several of the men who attended. Thanks for coming and supporting this event, men. Jimmy Gretzinger from "Michigan Out-of-Doors" shared an excellent message with us, the food was awesome, and many men went home with some great auction items. A special thanks to our cooks - Steve Blakemore, Doug Wolf, and my friend Erik Alcodray from Plymouth, Michigan.

On Sunday morning God used the message "Obey Your Thirst" in a great way. We had a wonderful response at the altar and some spiritual work was being done in young people's lives. The question is, what are you thirsty for? You can listen to the message on our website later tonight.

This morning for a thought I take you to Isaiah 26:3, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee." The truth is, God wants to keep you in His peace. That word "peace" really means wholeness, health, quietness of soul, preservation, and completeness. The verse says you won't just have peace but perfect, divine, excellent, and faultless peace. When your mind is fixed and steadfast on Christ, you will have peace that the world knows nothing about. That is a great promise to claim if your mind is entirely upon Christ. This week, I encourage you to enjoy God's peace. I know I need it in my life. Walk in it, rest in it, and claim it in Jesus' name.

Till next time, Pastor Don

P.S. THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:

TO THE WORLD YOU MAY BE ONE PERSON,
BUT TO ONE PERSON YOU MAY BE THE WORLD.
