Good Morning Everyone,

Greetings on this unseasonably warm morning in January. The weather is always different and exciting when you live in Michigan. We had an exceptional day at God's House yesterday. Thanks so much for coming and being a part. We had good services, 143 in attendance in the morning, and I feel like I preached one of my best sermons ever. I hope you go to our website and listen to, "A Wrestling Match With God." I know God will use it to speak to your heart.

I was thinking this morning about yesterday's message and how Jacob was changed from a schemer and deceiver to a God-Mastered Man. He was changed forever after his all-night wrestling match. That is my prayer for each of you this morning -- that you would be "God-Mastered" men and women. In Colossians 3:9-10 Paul speaks of divine change and says that we should not lie to one another, seeing that we have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of God.

Lying is one of the things that belongs to the old man and it has no place in the life of the child of God. It seems like everyday in our lives we are tempted to distort the truth. That is why it is important to put on the new man. The new man is a man who is renewed in mind and heart. Holiness, love, humility, meekness, kindness and forgiveness are some of the things that make up the divine character. May we walk in newness of life this week. I know it is God's will for each of you. That's my challenge for this Monday.
