Good Morning Church Family,

It looks to be another hot day in Michigan. It's supposed to be fall here but feels more like mid-August. In fact, they are saying today could have record breaking temperatures. I hope you have been in the Lord's presence this morning and feel Him close to you. We have had wonderful services with our evangelist and his wife, Rev. Jerry and Barbara Roach. They have been such a blessing to us! We have 3 more services left and want to encourage each of you to come and join us. The time is 7pm each evening. My promise to you is that you will be blessed and drawn closer to God.

For a thought this morning I want to say, "Let your praise outweigh your asking." I believe that is a way to show God your gratefulness. That is what Abraham did. My Bible says he staggered not at the promise of God, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Notice that being strong in faith has something that goes with it . . . . . to be strong in faith is to give God glory. In giving God glory, Abraham was saying, "I'm the father of an entire nation. Sarah isn't pregnant yet, but I know she will be." That is an incredible faith and the kind of faith that God is pleased with. So whatever you are going through or facing, give God the glory. That way your faith will also outweigh the things you ask God for, and God can work on your behalf. May God bless you richly, and may you be a blessing to someone this week.
